| Entry | Under orders received from brigade the Commanding Officer and Coy Commanders proceeded by lorry to reconnoitre the front line N of ADINFER WOOD held by the Guards Divn. During their absence order (attached) received for move to LA HERLIERE area. 1st reinforcement of 104 OR sent back to 2nd Division Depot Battn. 3 O.R. joined from the Depot Battn. After Dinner the Battn moved to LA HERLIERE under attached order arriving at 3.30pm but billets being occupied by Labour units. Men were not settled down until 6 pm. Billets poor and scattered. |
