| Entry | At 4 am orders were received to proceed by march route to AMPLIER area were received (attached). Moved off at 10.15 am by route FORCEVILLE - ACHEUX - LOUVENCOURT - VAUCHELLES - LES AUTRIE - MARIEUX. Here orders were received diverting the Battn to BEAUVAL as there was no accommodation (sic) at AMPLIER. Dinners were eaten outside MARIEUX and the Battn moved off again at 2.30 pm via BEAUQUESNE to BEAUVAL arriving there at 5 pm. Billets good but very far apart. Only one man fell out on march |
