Entry A very quiet day, visibility being poor. Orders for relief received (copy attached). Details arranged between ourselves and 1/KRRC and 22/RF in the morning. Our D & B Coys were relieved by 1/KRRC and C & A Coys by 22/RF. The B.G.C Bde made a tour of the line in the morning and was very pleased with the good progress made. The Battn was relieved in the evening and the holding of the line re-adjusted (see map B attached). Relief complete 7.30 pm. The Battn moved to HERMIES. A & B Coys accommodated in trenches N of Village on each side of HERMIES-GRAINCOURT road. C & D Companies and Btn HQ in the Village (J30.a.53). Accommodation very poor though every man had shelter of a kind. Casualties 2 OR wounded.
