Entry Advance billeting party of an officer and 5 NCO's left at 4.45am. The Divisional General being on leave, the Brigadier was in command of Division, and the Commanding Officer had to leave the Battn to command the Brigade. D Coy entrained at ESQUELBECQ station leaving billets at 7 pm. Remainder of Battn marched to same station for entrainment leaving billets at 12 MN. Falling out state NIL. Lieut A U M HUDSON joined the Battn and posted to B Coy.
