Entry A fine morning. Training carried on under company arrangements. The afternoon was dull but no rain fell. A gymkhana was held on the rifle range. It was attended by the Divisional Commander and was very successful. In the evening [a lecture] to officers and senior NCO's was given by Col DOUNER RA on the work of the field guns in connection with modern methods of attack. The Commanding and Company officers returned from XVIII Corps school.
