Entry Weather unsettled. The Battalion paraded and marched to RAIMBERT rifle range where practice with live grenades and general training was carried out, the range being appropriated for the "Inter Battn" stage of the Divisional Rifleman's Competition. Result (1) 1/KRRC, (2) 1/R.Berks (3) 23/RF. The Commanding Officer and OC Companies proceeded to XVIII Corps School for 3 days instruction in the latest fighting tactics adopted in the operations in the NORTH. Lecture to officers and senior NCO's by Major Wilson DSO (GSO 2nd Divn) on training as applied to present operations.
