| Entry | A miserable wet day. The 99th Brigade marched to AUCHEL & RAIMBERT as a Brigade in the following order: 1/KRRC - 99th MG Co - 22/RF - 23/RF - 1/R.Berks - 99 TM Battery - No 2 Coy Train. Our reinforcements marched as two companies. The Battn was allotted billets at AUCHEL which we reached at 1 pm. The billets were found to be inconvenient and scattered and sanitary arrangements incomplete. It was impossible to find room for a Battn mess and 3 messes were arranged for A & D Coys, B & C Coys and HQ. |
