Entry Weather continued fine and warm. At 5.30am enemy concentrated all his available artillery and TM's on that part of the Divisional front lying to N of LA BASSEE Canal and attempted to raid at CANADIAN ORCHARD. The operation was a failure. SOS was sent back and our artillery assisted otherwise all was quiet on our front, the enemy being noticeably inactive. 2/Lt MANNING was slightly wounded by a sniper at 7 am and was sent down. The remainder of the day was uneventful.
