Entry Weather fine and warm. Day quiet. Enemy shelled the line occasionally. 100 men of 1 Company (under supervision of East Anglian Field Coy RE) commenced digging sumps for drainage of Z trench, the remainder of the Battalion improving KENT ROAD (OBL). This trench was heavily shelled. Casualties 1 killed and 3 OR wounded.
