On 10 Apr 1814, France, St. Cyprien. 2/66th. Battle of Toulouse. A false attack made on bridgehead at St. Cyprien

On 12 Apr 1814, Ceylon, Trincomalee. 1/66th embarked for India, where it landed at Calcutta on 27 April and was quartered at Fort William.

On 18 June 1814, France, Bordeaux. 2/66th. Byng's Brigade marched for Bordeaux on 3 June. It arrived there on 18 June. During their service with Byng the 2/66th had gained battle honours 'Douro', 'Talavera', 'Albuera', 'Vittoria', 'Nivello', 'Nive' and 'Peninsula', although the last was not sanctioned until 1817

On 15 July 1814, Ireland, Cork. 2/66th portion of First Provisional Battalion landed at Cork and marched to Middleton Barracks. The 2/66th portion of First Provisional Battalion embarked at Cork on 27 July and landed at Portsmouth. It briefly moved to the Isle of Wight during November. In January 1815 it sailed for St Helena.

During Aug 1814, France, Bayonne. 2/62nd remained in the neighbourhood of Bayonne for about a year until they embarked for Ireland, towards the end of the month

On 7 Sept 1814, Ireland, Cork. 2/62nd arrived here. Disembarked and marched to Kinsale under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel N Blackwell who received a Peninsula medal. The Battalion partook of the Royal and Parliamentary thanks given to the Army

During 1815, America, Maine. 1/62nd returned to Halifax after the district of Maine was restored to the Americans on the conclusion of peace. From here the Left Wing was detached to Bermuda

During Mar 1815, Canada, Three Rivers. Troops deployed here on the St Lawrence between Montreal and Quebec. The war having ended in December 1814. 115 men discharged and allowed to settle in Canada

On 15 May 1815, Canada. Regiment started on its homeward journey and reached Portsmouth on 15 July, where it disemberked on 17 August and deployed to Weymouth on 1 August

During July 1815, Ireland. 2/62nd having been quartered in Mallow and Kinsale marched to Cork, embarked there on 8 July to join the Duke of Wellington in France, disembarked at Ostend on 17 July and marched to Paris, and was quartered at Monte Martre and Belleville

On 9 Aug 1815, India, Calcutta. 1/66th left by riverboat for Dinapore, reached there on 18 September, moved forward towards the frontier on 1 November and reached Amowah, the point of assembly for the army, on 10 November.

On 6 Jan 1816, England. Over the next two days, the Regiment, in two divisions marched to Portsmouth. The Regiment reached Portsmouth during the 10 and 11 January. Whilst in Weymouth the Regiment had received the title 'Princess Charlotte of Wales's Regiment'

On 11 Jan 1816, France, Paris. 2/62nd marched to Calais to embark for England Part of 2/62nd disembarked at Dover and part disembarked at Ramsgate on 14 January. The 2/62nd embarked, sailing for Ireland on 24 January

On 2 Feb 1816, Ireland, Monkstown. 2/62nd disembarked, except Captain Radford's and Captain Reed's companies as the ship they were on were wrecked off Kinsale. Captain Radford was drowned but all others were saved. During February it marched to Dundalk. In April it marched to Drogheda, to Dublin on 16 April where, on 24 April, it was reduced, 400 men being sent to 1/62nd at Halifax, Nova Scotia.
