On 1 Jan 1851, Ireland, Mullingar. Two companies marched to relieve the Companies at Drogheda and Trim over the 1 and 2 January. The relieved companies return to Mullingar over the 3 and 4 January
On 15 Feb 1851, Ireland, Cork. Headquarters division embarked for Corfu, the remainder of the Service companies following on 26 February.

On 15 Apr 1851, Ireland, Mullingar. One company deployed to each of Granard, Mullingar and Ballymahon in aid of Civil Power of Election of Member of Parliament for Longford County. The companies from Granard and Ballymanon returned to Headquarters on 21 April.
On 21 Apr 1851, Ireland, Mullingar. During the next four days the Regiment was transported by rail to Dublin in three Divisions.
Headquarters and seven companies deployed at Richmond Barracks, two companies at Island Bridge and one company at Pigeon House Fort
On 20 June 1851, Ireland, Dublin. Two companies deployed to Ship Street Barracks from Richmond Barracks and one company deployed to Ship Street Barracks from Pigeon House Fort
During Nov 1851, Ireland, Templemore. Depot companies deployed here. They were transferred to Waterford during March 1852, where they remained until March 1853.
During March 1853 the Depot companies transferred again, to Butterant and to Cork.
In April the Depot companies deployed to Fermoy.
