On 11 July 1848, Australia, Hobart. Headquarters Disembarked and marched into Barracks where they were joined by a detachment of one Officer and 52 Other Ranks
On 22 July 1848, England, Portsmouth. Flank Companies formed Guard of Honour for H.M. Queen en-route for Isle of Wight. Four companies transported by rail to North West District; two to Blackburn, one to Macclesfield and one to Wellington (Salop)
On 24 July 1848, England, Portsmouth. Headquarters and remainder of Regiment transported by rail to Bury (via overnight stop at Manchester). Three companies detached en-route to Bolton. One company was deployed to Liverpool and one company deployed to Colne
