On 15 May 1906, Ireland, Dublin. Battalion (20 Officers and 840 Other Ranks) by route march to Kilbride Camp for Annual Musketry Course, returning on 23 June to Dublin on completion of Annual Musketry Course.
On 28 June 1906, Ireland, Dublin. Detachment (One Officer and 50 Other Ranks) to Ship Street Barracks, Dublin there to be stationed. Detachment returned to Headquarters on 17 August.
On 31 July 1906, Wales, Pembroke Dock. Battalion (20 Officers, two Warrant Officers and 612 Rank and File) proceeded to Hollingbury Camp to take part in Sussex Manoeuvres.
On 20 Aug 1906, Ireland, Dublin. Battalion marched to Kilbride for 13th Infantry Brigade Training. The Battalion marched to Donard Camp on 21 August, to Holywood on 24 August and returned to Dublin on 25 August.
On 31 Aug 1906, Ireland, Dublin. Battalion marched to Johnstown Camp for Brigade and Divisional Training. On 1 September the Battalion marched to Nurney, to Stradbally on 4 September, to Maryborough Heath on 5 September, to Monasterevan on 6 September, to Tullomry House on 8 September, to Curragh Camp on 12 September, returning to Dublin on 14 September
