On 6 Apr 1840, India, Calcutta. Regiment embarked on the 'Mahomed Shah', 'Suliman', 'Blundell', 'Mermaid' and 'Isabella Robertson'. The last two collided with each other and had to put back. 'Mermaid' sailed with Battalion Headquarters on 17 April. The 'Isabella Robertson' sailed on 23 April.
