A paperback book of 172 pages. with the addition of a Battalion Overview, the Organisation of Battle and an Index makes this latest edition an improved version.  This book is for all those with an interest in the 1st Wiltshires during World War 2. The original diary is only to be seen at the National Archives at Kew, London, so publishing this transcript will assist all those who are interested and also hopefully reduce the demand to see the originals. The narrative text, extracted from the History of The Wiltshire Regiment by Lieutenant Colonel NCE Kenrick, relating to the service of the 1st Wiltshires in World War 2 and a transcription of the Battalion War Diary for the period May 1942- November 1946 will hopefully give as complete a picture as possible.
