Written and published in 1898 by Major De Winton, this book recounts the period the 99th (Lanarkshire) Regiment travelled to and served in New South Wales in the 1840s. This second edition (2011) reproduces the content of the original, making De Winton's story of that period available today at a reasonable cost.

This is a book about soldiering in Australia and New Zealand whilst serving with the 99th Regiment of Foot in the 1840\'s.
