Sergeant Rogers Day
In 1988, Regimental Headquarters, then at Salisbury was approached by a military historian who was carrying out research for an article on Sergeant M. ROGERS VC MM. Although the circumstances under which Sgt ROGERS have been briefly covered in the history of the Wiltshire Regiment, the story of Sgt ROGERS life and times had not been put together in one article. That omission led to the publication of this small booklet written by Brigadier D.E. Ballentine OBE MC which fills that gap. It includes a number of images.
